i'd say that's perfectly normal since a cold engine without fast idle will run lower than when fully warm. mine does the same. same rpms and all. 800 is good for such a cam i think, it just sounds higher

pot is a single muffler. i just transleted from german to english again without thinking, sorry. since i'm probably worldwide the only one calling it that .. ignore ;-)

and nah, no crickets. you'd have to go further south in europe. Spain, south of France etc. the best thing about Ireland is: no Moskitos. ever :-)

well .. they couldn't get the magnaflows back in (6 weeks), but have dynomax super turbos in stock. they'rte going to organize the utraflow welded for me know. would have ended up cheaper buying in states (summit) directly, but what's done is done. will have them in 2 weeks (unless they come back with another problem)

i believe they're probably the same ones as you have tx65coupe ?

Thats cool. Those are the same as mine. I hope you like them as much as I do. How much more than Summit will they cost? Of course you would have had to pay more for shipping from Summit.

Were you wanting the Magnaflows more?

The Dynomax Super Turbos sound good, but are more mild. I know quite a few people that have them and really like them too.

couldn't really decide between the magnaflow and the dynomax, so i thought just bite the bullet, buy somethign and hope its good. when i saw they had dynomax super turbos I went to dynomax website and listened to all of them. the great thing is that it's all on the exact same engine, so you can actually tell the difference. I'm quite sure I'll like them as well. they sound good on yours and the engines are not too different I guess

Yeah, Our motors are very similar. Your right about the sound clips. I hate how alot of the other sites have a different car for every muffler they have. You have no way to compare volume and tone with those.

what type of sound deterrent material have you put down before you scrap the 40's?

just installed the 40series on my 67 351 auto... not sure exactly which ones, i believe they came in a couple options for the 40's. anyways real quite, almost not loud enough! but i like the deep quite sound.

i believe they are the delta 40 series ill have to check.

i have absolutely none. i'd like it for heat/cold insulation and to get rid of some slighyt background drivetrain noises. but I don't mind a loud exhaust at all.
flowmaster 40s sound like a heavy metal guitar on overdrive, just with the player not knowing how to tune it. Sounds great, but not when you're actually listening to it ... that's why I want to replace
