Default power steering question

om restoring my 67 and just working out the bugs while bodyworking.. will post pics soon. took it for a drive around the block today and after about 20min of driving my steering got really tight!? it was after it was heated up obviously and at low rpm's. my guess is bubble in the line, low fluid, or a wrong sized pulley but doubt it... anyone have any ideas?? all comments appreciated!

Step one, check the fluid level and condition. If it's low, fill it up. If it's dark/smells burned, flush it.
