Default Are all 1.08 4100s the same?

Are all 1.08 4100 the same? Are the Cal. emissions ones altered at all? Are the Thunderbirds the same as the Mustangs? Is the only difference auto to manual the dashpot? Can a dashpot be fitted to the manual version?

Also is the dashpot and bracket on the 2100s the same as the 4100s?

Are the 2100 and 4100 linkages the same?

No.

I believe they were jetted differently.

Are the Thunderbirds the same as the Mustangs?
No, the T-bird had a much larger engine.

Is the only difference auto to manual the dashpot?
No.

Can a dashpot be fitted to the manual version?
Of course.

Also is the dashpot and bracket on the 2100s the same as the 4100s?
Yes.

Are the 2100 and 4100 linkages the same?
Yes, the rod and spring are the same, but the spring bracket is different.

I mean the carb. If it is a 1.08 4100 from a Thunderbird is there anything different (did Thunderbirds have 1.08s?) to the Mustang, just jetting?

Is the only difference auto to manual the dashpot?
No.
What else is different?

Can you get jets for the 4100? If so where?

The reason for these questions is I can get a Holley remanufactured 4100 to suit a manual cheapish, but I have an auto which is currently 2V (2100).

The Holley Remanufacture number is 64-5019, if that means anything (I have found it listed by Holley but it may mean more to you guys).

From this site:

http://mustangtek.com/4100/ford4100.html

I found that the carb I am thinking about getting is (it has 6SC on it according to the seller):

C6SF-C

6S-C
66 390-428 Thunderbird

1.08 venturi 4V

Auto

Cal emissions

But he says it is for a manual.

One thing's for sure, you cannot swap a 4100 for a 2100 without changing the intake manifold.
