Yeah, but unless I take a item out of the donor car myself, I never take the seller's word for what something is.

iirc the 5.0 got the AODE in 93...if you want to get a motor gets on Craigslist.org for your area and do a search for a lincoln mark 7 they have the exact same 5.0 high output motor as the mustang and the AOD transmission...they will be cheaper because they arent a "Mustang motor" you could probably get a whole car for 300-500$ running and driving so you could test it out beforehand

(smacks forehead) OH well, I got a 289 from craiglist and just dropped it off at a shop that does nothing but rebuilds engines.

Oh well, thanks for the information though.
