sold those wheel's. 200 and a cd player.

i fired up my bronco to move them around....and i got to say....i really wish my mustang had that motor!

the 289 runs really good and rev's up fast... but man the bronco has SO MUCH MORE POWER!

i was going to put a windsor in it and punch it out to a 408 but hurd it wont fit in the 66.

yes, when you pull the headlight switch to lights, the parking lights go off. This is the way it is designed but can be changed with a simple jumper wire.

F*#% PAINLESS WIRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there a joke.

and customer service? ha what customer service!

for how much this harness cost one would think a few thing's.
1, IT WOULD WORK!
2, IT WOULD COME WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED!
3, IT WOULD COME WITH PLUG'S AND WIRING FOR THE SHIFTER AND DOME LIGHT (AND IF YOU HAD A CONVERT)
but no.
i guess for 900 bucks all your getting is a kick in the nut's.

well, got my cluster back. look's grate he did a really grate job!

wired up everything and guess what. the oil gauge go's all the way the H and wont come back down even if the motor die's only if you turn off the key,
for some resion the hole cluster has power going throught it????
my fuel gauge is reading way wrong and my courtesy lights dont work. (no power) and my motor still wont turn off with the key. i fallowed the book to the T and im having more problems then a *&#%$@#%#(#&@#(*&@&% chevy.

and to top it all off, i went and got a set of ugly a$$ wheel's+tires and the douchebag (chevy guy) told me they would fit no problem. so get them back and guess what. they dont. the wheel's do. but the &*%$ tire's in the back are so stinkin big if i sneezed the tires would rub.

so now im stuck with a harness that's a pile of the devil's s*^% and wheels and tires that dont fit and are as ugly as a transvestite donkey witch.

im about ready to give up and sell it

Send the Painless wiring back and get reproduction wiring.

The instrument cluster looks nice. I suggest getting an electronic regulator for it.

The cluster certainly does look nice. And I'll never use a "painless" kit, mainly because I can't afford it.
And you've gotta be careful about taking someone's word on what will fit your car. I've had people try to sell or trade me the strangiest things... I got offered 4 super swamper tires with less than 5% tread left for my engine on craigslist. What part of "the only trades I'm interested in are mustang related" did they not understand? And then somebody wants to trade 6cyl front spindles and drums (whilst trying to convince me they're from a V8 car) for my engine...
Some people will do anything...

Hey that was me offering you those tires!!!! They would do wonders for your Mustang......

Just kidding.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

OK on a more serious and thread-related note, that cluster does look great. I would like to know his techniques. Yes what he does is spelled out, but how he does them, I didn't catch that part.....

i didnt buy it, the PO did. so really doubt they will take it back.
it just sucks cus i can never get ahold of them to talk about it or fix the problems. there hrs are the same as what everyone else works so when people get off work and work on there project's there closed!

i cant stand to even look at those wheels lol it just makes me sick.

on a more happyer note. i drove it around last night and got my gauge light's working. (light switch is broken) but ran a jumper wire so now it work's.
also, im running

it was nice to drive but i really need power steering. it's not fun lol

also, there is a voltage regulator on it. tho above it is a spade term im guessing for a ground? that's not hooked up cus it say's nothing about it on the book, tho there are two wires left over from the cluster wiring section i have now idea where they go too.

i drove it to work today. i think it has bump steer. when i hit a pot hole or groove in the road it go's all over the place. my ball joint's seemed fine and i took my tie rod off and checked those joints and repainted it. why would it do that?

and is my voltage reg bad? seem's like a lot of power is going through the gauge's. i checked the fuel gauge with the key on and it was 55.1
