Default late model 65 build.

well i had a few mustang's but never really worked on one like my bronco.

it's got the org 289 (rebuilt by ford in 2000 as well with the c4 trans). has OEM seat skin's and carpet.
the owner of the car was getting ready to restore it and cut out the wiring and bought a painless harness witch im installing now.

she's been sitting for almost 2 years and i cleaned out the carb and tank and hot wired it up and firers right up and run better then my bronco

well im having a hard time finding a wiper switch and putting the lock tumbler set into the ing switch....any tip's???

im going to order some 2'' spacers for the wheel's i got today. 140 off ebay.

this is going to be my DD i traded my dodge for it lol

it has a lot of part's from NPD in the trunk

spacer's are for these wheel's. with a 2'' the tire's wont stick out, and ill be getting a wider rear axle out of like a lincon boat.

and im thinking going two tone on the paint, hood, top of fender's roof, trunk, black and the rest a copper color. exited to build my cage

Welcome to the forum.

The ignition switch can be a bit of a pain.

I agree. I don't like the idea of spacers, and definitely not some that are that wide.

By the way, This is just my opinion, but I would not two tone the paint. That looks too much like Chip Foose. Yuck.

Here are some wiper switches.

Yes, welcome to the forum.
Use of late model 17" wheels on the 1st gen cars is a fairly common discussion. General concensus is that it's not a good practice. Going with a wider rear end is a good approach. For the front tho. some people choose to have the wheel narrowed in order to get a better offset.

I personally have had nothing but bad luck with spacers. I tried to mount those same wheels on a 72 F100 and ended up almost losing a wheel and ruining a new brake caliper when the spacer worked loose between the hub and the wheel.

ya, im not to happy about it. but it's just for around town use. when it's time to take it to the track ill buy some better one's....tho if i can get 300 for em that will be a good start.

a few of my friends use spacer's on there rig's 1 jeep on 37's a 4runner on 38's and a sami on 40's no problem's and there used on the street all the time.
been told to re tourqe em once a month.

got some more work done today.
rebuilt the shifter, got my ing switch put togauther (dont ask me how cus i have no idea) wired up the nuetral safty and backup switch. (tested and was still good) seems like im having to replace anything electronic lol
i could't find the emer flasher switch but found my old one off my 72 f250 back from hight school that is the same switch! got that wired up and mounted in the glovebox.

how can i tell if my heater is a 2 or 3 or 4 speed? i think it's a two, off-on-high? ill try and post some pic

I feel that wheel spacers should be illegal for safety reasons.
