Dont let these guys bother you...I think those wheels would look good with the center painted black to match your paint job.

I agree though I would NEVER two-tone that car. especially black/copper or burnt orange. LOL

First of all, Chip Foose would never put those on a classic Mustang. (neither would I but that's besides the point)

Secondly, its your car, you do the work, you pay for it, make it look the way you want. Its a personal choice, so do what makes u happy.

Third, to answer your question, mine are 18x9 in the rear and 17x7.5 in the front. The fronts are american racing, the rears are some no name. The styles and finishes are exactly the same. I wanted a staggered lip in the rear and the 17/18" combo so that was the only way to do it mixed brands). I changed out the center caps to the AR Shelby commemrative caps to match the set.

i was thinkin of running 18's but im to poor lol my work car has a set of kong's that look like those but not so much back spacing, and i tryed one of them on maybe if they where all black or the center's...but i dunno.

well, i fired up the car...and it wont turn off with the key.

when the motor is off and key is on, i have power to the pos coil and when i turn the key off there's no power. but when the motor is running the power is still there till i kill the motor then the power is gone.... where could it be getting power to stay running?

That sounds like what mine has. I was under the impression that the heater box that didn't have the resistor on the front was a for the 2 speed blower motor. Maybe 2+2GT knows for sure.

I woudn't say that. Foose is pretty good at making cars ugly. Some of his cars are nice, but most of them are way overdone.

I don't hate Chip, but I do not like most of his work. I don't like the 2nd gen Eleanor either.

well, i was wrong. i guess it's a 3speed.

when i had the motor running i turned it on and it was hardly doing anything so fliped it over the the next speed and not much better but when i was trying to get out from under the dash my hand pushed on it and it moved over once more and the motor started spinning way faster. but sound's like it's hitting my box or something.

the 2006? wouldn't that be the 3rd gen eleanor?

the one from the 70's
the 67
that one
then the one there making now.

but i agree, that 2006 one is ugly...it just don't fit the car.

I wasn't aware there was an "official" 2nd generation in the '70s

I wasn't even thinking about that one, but yeah I don't like it either. The only good Eleanor is the first one which is yellow.

The over custom look just looks rediculous to me.

That sounds like a three speed heater to me. Your problem may be debris in the heater box interfering with the fan. It could also be the blower motor itself is worn out. That was the case with mine.
