I had that thought as well but I don't think I'm going to be doing much over 300hp at the wheels so I'm not overly concerned about it.

Just thought I would give some of you an update. I picked up my rear end yesterday and the axles are 28 spline like I thought. After some research i found that the PO had 3.55 gears with traction loc prior to removing the axle. I found it strange to have those gears with 28 spline. Is this a possible combination?

Best I can tell I have 3.50, 28 spline and traction-lok in my 9" rear.
