Default Crankshaft issue

Ok here is my problem i have a 67 mustang and im replacing my old 302 in it with a new one i brought i paid $200 for a 302 bored .40 over with forged everything but when i came to assemble it i found that the crank bearings are standed and the crank is undersized but i dont know how to find out how undersized it is to find out how big of bearings i need if any one knows what a standed crank size is i will use a micromiter on mine and figure out how much undersized it is.?
thank you
chris

You could always use Plastigage on it.

so do the caps up with the standed bearings and undersized crank then take the caps back off and read the pastigage and get bearings that much biger?

Rod Journal Diameter (in) 2.123 in.
Main Journal Diameter (in) 2.248 in.

The mains I am sure of , I need to check the rods out further, can't find my interchange book...

I had to think about that for a while. bearing shell wider, but resulting inner diameter smaller?

yeah ok i just tryed the plastigage idea and the gap is way biger then plastigage. so im in the proses of removing the crank then i will do the cap back up with out the crank in there and measure the size of the standed bearing then measure the crank then minus the two numbers and that's how much bigger my bearings need to be right?

Just have a machine shop measure it to make sure you get the right bearings.
