Default Steering column bearing sleeve

What holds the bearing sleeve on the steering column? Can someone post a pic?

A spring between the sleeve and steering wheel.

Do you mean the bearing at the top of the column seen here?

My '67 and '69 columns had a circlip? that you use a pair of reverse pliers on to spread apart. I can post more disassembly pics if you need.

Jon, that's I was talking about. But the 65's didn't have the clip. Thanks anyway.

The 68 column was totally different. No spring required. 64-67 required a spring, but no clip, until the 2-piece steering shaft was introduced as a safety upgrade.
