There is no adjustment to flow, other than float level, and this is preset. Not starting, then? The fuel pump should fill it with about 5-10 seconds of cranking.

Put a fuel pressure gauge inline before the carb. I believe Edelbrocks like no more than 6.5 psi fuel pressure.

You should also see a squirt of fuel looking inside the front of the carb when you move the accelerator pump too.

What makes you think it's not getting fuel?

edelbrocks i'd even go 6 max, rather 5psi. and yes
with engine off, open the choke butterfly and press the throttle. If you see gas squirting then you know the carburetor is getting fuel

I'll also say that Edelbrocks do not like more than 6 psi maximum fuel pressure. I had a different pump and was getting about 7 psi and the carb did not like that at all. I think Kalli is right about keeping it more like 5 psi.

Since we are talkinga bout this, how much pressure does a stock fuel pump produce? I have never seen specs for them. I have the edelbrock pump that is spec'd at 6 psi.

Depends on the pump, but usually 4.5-7psi.
