hey wait!! weren't you complaining of soft pedal last week?

You really fixed it good!

Was it air in the system from some type of fitting leak? When you were saying it felt soft did it stop okay or did it take just as much leg work but more pedal travel?

Yes i did have a soft pedal last week. I didn't have the shoes adjusted enough so the pedal was going all the way to the floor which when bleeding was keeping air in the front lines. I adjusted the shoes to barely hit the drums like they should. This finally allowed me to bleed the brakes and get the air out of the front. But now it takes tremendous pressure to stop the car. I ended up using an adjustable push rod because the one I had seemed too short.

When the original push rod was connected the pedal wasn't anywhere close to which it should have been. Is it possible that I have the adjustable one too long? The pedal stop is right at the assembly with just a bit of wiggle room.

Rod must be adjusted so MC piston can fully travel to its resting position (the snap ring).
