Has anyone put their carpet in the dryer?

I had the heater on for a bit, but it's like a drop in the ocean. Today was warmer. I had a reading of 55 in the sun on my back porch. I put down the top and let the sun beat down. I have a few lumps on the from pans. I was going to put a case of water on each side and let them sit for a while.

It looks like it went in pretty nicely. I noticed the washers too. LOL...

Sorry, I had to say it... anyway, maybe a pan of HOT tap water sat down on the lumps....

Maybe loosen up the bolt, slide some paper under the washer, mask the carpet, and hit with a black rattle can?

Ahhh the bolts were only in there to keep the carpet in place. I am going to replace them with some fender washers of some sort. Easy to remove.

Okay back from the hardware store with 4 new fender washers, lock washers and bolts. Pics to come when it's above 32 degrees. LOL

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat...... Can't work because of the temp in the garage...

I had to put my 67 coupe on hold because it is about zero in my garage on most days. I bought the "garage door insulation" and a portable heater, now I just need to get the heater cranking for some time before I put up the insulation.

Ok, enough ranting on my part.... Let's see those pictures when you get them.
