Door Paint Question
Hello.
I am afraid my exterior painter might have painted the door of my 1966 fastback incorrectly. Currently, the exterior paint ends at the 90 degree angle formed by the edge of the door jam and interior door panel. Photos I am looking at online see to have the exterior paint end at the inner lip of the exterior door skin. Which is correct? Thanks!

From your description I don't really get where the painter stopped painting, but when I paint I make it clear that Jambs are extra.
A lot of extra work goes into properly painting jambs, this = more $$$.

Thanks JMD. Sorry.....I guess I used the wrong term. I am referring to the interior edge of the door between the weatherstrip and the side of the panel that faces the interior of the ca, starting at the top of the door, wrapping around the bottom and ending at the other window edge. As to door jamb, I was referring to the jamb "facing: side of this edge. I have attached a picture I finally found. The area I am referring to is that above the saking tape in this example.
