t56 in a 65

Default t56 in a 65

thinking on getting the drop trans braket for the t56 and takeing out the t5....now i'm putting it behind the 351W! has anyone used this set up that you don't need to cut the tunnel, and have been driveing the car with no vibrations ?? this will be in a 65 vert.. thanks

The T5 fits a 65 without tunnel cutting, and vibrations happen only when something is worn, misaligned, or damaged.

Obviously 2+2 didn't read your question thoroughly......

I don't know the answer, but hit up JMD, I think he and his son put a T56 in his son's car. Pretty sure I read that he didn't cut the tunnel, just dropped the back of the trans. Maybe he'll see this post and reply.
