Default carburator rebuild kit

Hey, I'm getting ready to rebuild my stock carburetor (2v model 2100) and was wondering if anyone knew of a good rebuild kit?

I saw one in the NPD catalog and didn't know if that was one that I needed to fix the problem I have (its running rich and I cant seem to stop it) or if I need another one.

I wont have the funds for a new intake and carb for awhile and I figured rebuilding the carb should help the gas mileage a little and help save some money for later upgrades. So any tips or recommendations as to which rebuild kit to use would be much obliged.

The best company, IMO, for Ford carbs is Pony carburetor. Check out their web site. I guess most any company has quality carb parts, but these guys are the best.

I think Pony carbs are a little high in price myself, but I have heard good thing about their products. Have you checked the local parts stores??? They usually have them for the top carbs, (Holley, Edel and Autolite). I hate my local "Zone", just because of the inept employees they hire, but they usually have the kits.

Hi,
I got my rebuild kit from NAPA. As far as running rich you might need new jets if you live at alt.
I live at 7k and will need to jet down a bit. I will start looking for jets tomorrow.
