Speedometer Cable Lub
What are you guys using to lubricate your speedo cable? I constantly have issue with my speedometer cable shaking. I replace it every year, but I think if it were lube right I would not have as much of an issue. Plus the quality of the replacement speedometer cables are junk in most cases. I have had the tranny fitting come off the housing sheath. I have had the actual inside cable be too short and fall out of the gear. Here is what I bought, but I remember seeing something on Spike about a self made mixture that you smear on with your hands before installing the cable. Any ideas?

The Daniel Carpenter speedometer cable from Mustangs Unlimited is the nicer of the repro ones I have seen.
I use this from Orielly. I also use gun oil like 2+2 said.
