Default Inflatable Spare?

Any idea if anyone makes remake inflatable spares? I have a full size right now, but would love to downgrade to the compact version.

They stopped making those a long time ago. Typically, now, you only see them in the trunk of hard-core show cars.

They were never very good as tires, and now they are all really old, too. Not something you'd actually want to use. Just for looks, now.

Do they put those in rear wheel drive cars? I know on front wheel drive cars, you have to put them on the rear, even if it means swapping a rear wheel onto the front.

+1.
Assuming you're just looking for a functional spare. You can find early Ford ones that are bigger than today's doughnuts and only have the 5X4.5 holes. That way if someone sees it... Well it's not as cheesy as a newer one.

I've never seen one before. I bet it's a cool piece of kit... if you're a hardcore restoration kinda guy.
