Tips for media blasting an intake?

I would say remove anything that can be removed on the manifold, Blasting is not going to hurt threaded holes, unless you blast the hole for 5 min or so, then it would be damaged slightly.

I'd also put a couple layers of duct tape over any milled surfaces.

your too nice, ive never seen a media blasted intake for sale used lol

I'm assuming this would be where the intake touches the heads and block? Sorry for the stupid question.

Haha nice call, and I'm only blasting it to make it more appealing and hopefully rake in more cash!


I wanna try and get as much for this intake as I can to cover my losses from my first 351w block. Luckily this came with the block I got, so I can make back most of my money here. Funny this intake will sell for more than the block.
