deleting them looks good on dark cars but mine is light green.

whatever you do dont try to spray paint them lol, if the chrome is completely off then you should be fine but the paint on mine "grouped" leaving it wavy and spotty, nothing a little sanding and extra coats doesnt cure though.

I agree MustangFTW, I don't think they'd look good removed on your car since it's light green.

Personal;y, I don't like the look too much. But that's just personal preference. Just like most people don't like the idea of painting the bezels black.

And thanks for the tip FTW, I'm a ways off from worrying about my trim so that will come in the future.

i was wondering the same thing, though i dont see how he would use a bracket without screwing into the body, maybe ITS MAGIC

Update: got about 5 coats on 3 of the trim pieces and clear coated them, they look sexy as hell. pics tomorrow when you'll actually be able to see them.

When I welded up the holes I just used a flat head bolt (like this... ) to fill the hole. I put them in a vice and bend the head to match the tilt of the panel. It served two purposes, filling the hole and giving me a mount for the buckets. Easy Peazy Lemon Squeezy.
