Well, that's the thing. If you use an 85-92 "World Class", you'll be OK, but you'll need to "drive it like and adult". A T5Z would be a little stronger, but you won't find that at the junkyard.

If it's as advertised, yes.

Sweet, mucho thank you. Also, I've been reading that the '69 mustangs have a little dimple or something on the firewall where you can drill a hole for the clutch rod. Is this true for the '70 model too???

All Mustangs had this dimple. Make sure you make the hole the right size to fit the rod boot.

On my '66, there was a factory knock out for the clutch rod. Since it was originally an automatic it was not punched out, but all I had to do was pop it with a hammer and drift. It was already the right size for the boot.

Did they change that in later years?

An expensive PITA. An indulgence. The stock linkage works perfectly, installs easily, More easily than hydraulic) and if you ever damage it, parts are available from any Mustang dealer.

ok, cool. I tried looking for that dimple on the firewall but couldn't see anything cause my master cylinder was in the way. Have any pictures of it so i know what I'm looking for??? And how about the actual pedal, would i have to get a whole new gas and break pedal with it, cause i know that gets a little pricey too, almost as much as the actual tranny
