Question Inline 6 Upgrades???

I am looking at doing some upgrades to my 1965 Mustang Inline 6. I am hoping to get it up to 200 horsepower from the current 120hp. Is this even possible and if so, what kinds of things can I do that would give me the greatest horsepower improvements.

Header
New head
2bbl or 4bbl carb
electronic ignition
valve job
cam

I bought some of my stuff from www.classicinlines.com

You could do a 250 head or I believe a late model 200 head.

Cam, intake, Carberator(s), Headers, Intake and exhaust work on the head.

So would it be possible to get up to 200 horsepower?

I have seen the aluminum heads on classic inlines, are there any others?

Not that I know of. 200 hp is reachable, its just going to take a good bit of money.

Another way is a custom supercharger or turbo setup.

You can reach 200 without the exotic head. Dual headers with dual exhaust would be an excellent first step, but I'm thinking the single best thing you can to to make the car quicker is put in a T5 5-speed.

For not a butt load of mony that will wake it up i would think is a 6 into 2 header, any carb upgrade. if you want to get motor work done, then cam, head work or new head. those are a bit more money though

Thanks for the advice, I am getting the motor rebuilt over this winter and was looking at things to do to it to increase the horsepower. How much do the T-5 5 speed transmissions run?
