No oil cooler, std trans, so no tranny heat to deal with. the radiator does the job.

I am running basically the same thing in my 39, except with EFI....



Jim's engine compartment looks good and didn't cost much, mostly elbow grease...

Opened the rebuilt engine that I got with the car. IT has been sitting a bit. One of the freeze plugs was out and when I tipped it a little, brown water came out. THen inserting finger, thicker brown, like a dark tan. Maybe a little rust and water from when they tested it?

I guess I will have to take it apart. I didn't know if I was going to sell it but I guess I can't now unless I sell it as an as is or I take it apart and look at it. It has a nuce crome oil pan on it too. Must have been a ton to ship that

U did, it was a local sale and I didn't want to travel over to the west coast for a car and all that flooding along the Mississippi, who knows what would be on the market with mud inside wires and electronics.
