Default Harmonic balancer install question

I have a 68 302 that had no accessory brackets. So I had to get some but only brackets I could find were from a fox body 302. Also I had to buy pulleys for the 302. As the person I bought the engine from took the accessory so I had no brackets or pulleys for it including the balancer pulley. The pulleys I ordered were made for a 4 bolt balancer. Well I had a 351 I was taking apart anyway that had a 4 bolt 28oz balancer (same balance as older 302s) on it.

So when I use a harmonic balancer installer is it proper to install the 351 balancer until it lines up with the other pulleys or should I buy the proper 302 balancer?

Go with that choice. When you start mixing and matching odd parts from various years and engines, things can go to hell in a handbasket very quickly. The best part is everything you could need for your 68 balancer, bracket, and pulley-wise is available new.
