Brake Drum Replacement
Want to replace a couple of drums on my 68 200 ci. I know it's a 4 lug, 4 1/2" lug pattern. I believe it's a 14" drum since the tires are 14". Is there anything else I need to know about the measurements of the drum itself?

The drum is not the same size as the rim, it's smaller. TMK the 6cyl. came standard with 9" drums/shoes. You didn't mention if they are front or rear drums you're replacing but pretty sure they are both 9" on the 6cyl. You can look up part sizes on sites like rockauto.com, oreillyautoparts, advanceautoparts, etc. and see what's listed for the '68 6cyl. Usually there may 2 different widths for the shoes front/rear but not always.

OK. Looks like it's the one for 1 1/2" brakes (I assume that means the width of the shoe???) They have 2 different drums for the front and rear but they both look the same to me. What am I missing?
when i went to rebuild my drum brakes by the time i bought new drums, shoes, wheel cylinders etc i was gonna have just as much as a disc brake conversion in it...so i went with the disc but i went ahead and put a few hundred more with it and got the 13 inch discs
