Default Head Swap

Will the head from a 170 cid engine fit on a 200 cid engine?

The head on my 200 has a bad place in the casting that I think is letting water get into the oil. I have a 170 engine in storage and hope to just swap out the parts.

Thanks

BTW, it's a 1965, plain jane, 3-speed, silver blue with blue interior. With gas prices as they are, I'll drive it instead of the SUV I have now.

Well, I get about 17 mpg in my XTerra and calculated mid-to-high 20s with my little 6 cylinder, three speed. That was a long time ago, but I'd say it still holds true.

you might be right because you do have a six cyl. but i know an 8 cyl. gets around 8-13 mpg.
