I don't really think he was being rude or vulgar. He was nearly stating a fact. Those radios get negative comments all the time. The radios aren't really the greatest. I wish they were though. I like the idea of them.

So, did you get it to work? I had to connect both the power and the keep-alive power.

The BEST tap (IMO) for ACCESSORY is the center (threaded) post of the ignition switch, just put a small hoop on your wire, put the hoop on the shaft and install a new nut, (leaving the old nut and wires on the post in place).... done, no splicing.

This is UNFUSED, so make sure to use an inline fuse near the switch.

This post is easily accessible from under the dash.
