Did you happen to take any pics of this as you were going through it? My drivers side window is really starting to bind up and I am thinking I will have to go in there soon and I am not really sure where to start.

I don't know what your salvage yards look like, but I haven't seen a 60's Mustang lying around for quite some time.

68GT

its easy it looks super hard initially but alls you gotta do is: (for1966 anyhow)
1) Remove all the handles and pop the door trim off
2) Remove the 4 bolts from the regulator
1) remove the 1 keeper from the regulator arm to scissor
2) hold the window up
1) pop the regulator arm out of the scissor and slide the whole thing out the far access hole

So easy it only takes one step as numbered above!!

Got the new regulator installed. It is a Scott Drake item and it appeared to be built as well or better than the original. It fit nearly perfectly one screw hole had to be slightly enlarged nothing unacceptable. Works smooth but not as smooth as the passenger side (I blame the scissor i bet its worn out as well.)
