i welded all the holes that hold the wire looms and the starter solenoid and whatever other holed were unused. I rerouted the looms to the backside of the shock towers and the moved the solenoid also so there really isnt any wiring except for the ignition system.

To everyone, ok guys maybe I should clear some things up. I am NOT looking to modify ANY sheet metal in any way. I am looking for ideas that will help clean up the wiring and really draw attention to the engine and make it really the focal point of the car. As I stated earlier, I am looking for ideas that will help hide wires such as relocating the solenoid, cool ways to run plug wires, a way to hide the coil, managing power steering hoses, that kind of thing. If anyone has made modifications along these lines, or have more questions or comments please feel free to post away.

@ 69FB That looks great, I like how clean everything looks, although my one critique would be that the engine doesn't really look like it belongs. I want to do something that looks stock, 302, 351w, 351c, and isn't fuel injected, but have the advantage in looks to a fuel injected car.

@ Iskwezm Could you post pics of what you have done? I would be interested in seeing what it looks like.

wow wost description ever award

There are plenty of things you can do even including color combos.

For example you can pull the engine and clean up all the gunk do a nice job prepping the engine bay and then paint it a dark color for example gloss black por 15 or something like that run all the wires in a wire loom that is flat black.

Then you can clean up the engine and paint the block a cast iron gray using engine block paint then accent the engine with some chrome or polished aluminum anything that draws attention.
