So i have the a/c installed
it is working okay.. I installed an original 66 ford unit that has been updated to the 134. It is decently cold but it think that the fan ccould be stronger. I think maybe im expecting too much.
I do have one small problem.before the idle was at 750 rmps. now with the a/c that is too low and it sometimes stalls. So i turned it up to 700 with the a/c on and it is fine. however, when i shut the a/c off it idles up to 1100 rpms.
do i just have to live with this?
I also bought new tires. nitto 555 extremes on rear and the nitto invo on front. I LOVE THEM..... i wish they had the 555 in a 225 40 17 for the fronts but they dont just a 45.
they hook up great and ride nice. I doubt they will last though

Unless you spend a lot of time idling, leave the idle low. Careful tuning should help. If it stalls immeddiately when you let off the pedal, install a dashpot, to slow the throttle closing.
There are also AC solenoids available to raise the idle when the AC kicks on.
