Yeah she is looking good, I am bummed I can't do the body and paint myself but at least I know it will be done right. Maybe on my next one ill tackle it all myself. So after our game of email tag he finally got back to me yesterday with some updates.

Getting it on the frame rack...............finally.

New Rear quarters.

Still waiting to see if the rear taillight housing need to be replaced. Apparently the car was rearended ever so lightly before I got it. May have some more body work yet to do. We shall see.

talk about a frame-off restoration... You keep up with this and that'll be a brand new 67 mustang by the time you're done

so was mine, the bumper actually works LOL, it transfered most of the damage to the quarter panel extensions, which are pretty cheap and just bolt on. the tail light panel took some damage but nothing some creative mallet work didnt fix

before:

after: (same bumper and panel, just new extensions.)

its not 100% perfect as you can see a small shadow, for me its just fine

LOL yeah orange. Still not sure when we will start with paint choices and we aren't sure if we will do the vinyl top again are leave it all one color.

The updates have stopped but here is the latest photos from a couple days ago. I think he might be waiting for a couple parts.

He still hasn't gotten back to me on the rear taillight panel but with what you can see he seems to have kept it with the work he has already done on the fenders. I think I am going to surprise him next week and pop in for a visit.

Default Photo Update

Well he was able to fix the rear tail light panel and has a GT rear valance and a deck lid all ready to go. Next step is to fix the rust in the floor and the fire wall then its on to paint. I am going down next week to meet with him and hopefully pick out paint color. I am still not sure which direction I am going to go but I still like the orange black combo. We shall see.

New Photos

Rear end all done and primed.
