Default 69 scoop on a 66

I have a freshly dented hood on a fairly new paint job from the air cleaner nut.

So, i bought a 69 scoop of of egay and i am having it painted to match. It has 2 holes on each side from the 351 emblem.

Should I:

1. find a 289 emblem and adjust to fit

2. fill holes and leave blank

3 Fill holes and add some sweet *** airbrushed skulls in a ghost pearl paint?

there is a really nice ride on here that is a 66 sonic blue coupe that is the same color as mine. It has a shelby scoop with ghost flames and i love it!

i just dont want cheeze it out but im thinkin ghost skulls are kinda timeless

A good body guy could fix the dent so it would look good from top and bottom.

Many 69 Mustangs had the scoop as part of the Sprint, but the 302 had no engine emblem at all.

i know i just kinda wanna do the scoop anyway. i know there wasn't a 302 emblem for the scoop i was just talking about doing something custom with a 289 emblem

No offense, but 289 doesn't exactly instill fear like skulls/flames would.

If it were mine, I'd fill in the holes and leave it blank. Are you planning on cutting the hood?

yes i am going to cut the hood. I need to to clear the carb with the 200 shot nitrous spacer.

and, 69mach, im not trying to instill fear. My 289 at 7500 rpms with a 200 shot of nitrous is enough to have fun and get in trouble with. I only use it to get the kids from school and run errands around town. it is not a mad max mobile or a flat black mobile with a Simon and Simon bumper! The sculls would just be for a little highlight.
I have a nice large, lifted truck with a cummins to bother people if need be.
