Granada Conversion for Disk Brakes
Where do you see a 2-piston 66 Mustang caliper?
The area of each piston in a 65-67 Mustang Kelsey/Hays caliper is 2.07" (OK, 2.073942025221387") which yields just shy of 8.3" in each caliper.

Cool! I had no idea. I just looked up a general performance replacement on Rock Auto. I didn't dig for the fancy stuff.
What do those cost? Looks like about $100 each, so kinda pricey against the GM calipers at $15 each.
The only downside I see with them is the lighter weight rotor. The extra mass in the late model parts would be better for heat dissipation and fade resistance, but these would be a huge improvement over drums.

More like $120, since you'd have to eat the core charge. It was an off-the-shelf performance item. The Corvette had 4-piston calipers at the time, and actually used the same master cylinder and proportioning valve as the Mustang. In 68, Ford changed to a single piston caliper, probably because they were cheaper.
Chockostang has a kit for 68/69 with the stock k/h 4 pistons http://www.chockostangclassicmustang...nversions.html
I have the CSRP Kit and it installed easy. The 4 piston Kelsey Hayes kit with everything you need is $524. http://www.discbrakeswap.com/
I also would also say to stay away from the Granada junkyard route. It was the only option for a long time to get disk brakes on Mustangs but there are now many vendors selling high quality kits. You will save frustration, time and money with a kit
