Default Interior help 1967 mustang coupe

Okay, so i need your help. Im replacing my whole interior of my 1967 Mustang coupe and i need help with the whole process with dynamating, putting the acoustishield on, and then carpet installation. Does anyone know how to do the whole process for that or has anyone done it themselves? thanks

I typically use the die-cut repro OEM style. It's quick, easy, and doesn't max out your credit card. The original setup in coupes was actually very quiet, but usually most of it has been removed by some teenager. There is supposed to be material on the backs of the kick panels, and under the package tray, for example. Pretty much everywhere, really.

Are insulation kits and sound deadener kits the same? and if i install an insulation kit, i could just install carpet over the insulation kit just like a sound deadener kit, right?
Thanks

Yeah, insulation and deadener describe the same thing. A 67 coupe would have

firewall pad
kick panel pads
under-carpet pads (the carpet also has pads glued to it, totalling a LOT of padding)
under rear seat pad
quarter trim pads
roof pads
C pillar pads
package tray pad
behind seat pad
gas tank pad

and of course a heavy layer of undercoating-like spray on the inside of the door and quarter skins.

Betcha at least half of the above is missing. Usually is.

Any decent Mustang supplier, such as Glazier/Nolan, can provide all of these.

+1 with the die-cut repro OEM style.

Is it still sticky? I would use some sort of solvent or Degreaser. otherwise I would use an angle grinder with a wire brush.
