Default odd gauges question

So my oil pressure gauge doesn't work and I have a replacement for it. My fuel level gauge on the end is very dark and to me more important to regularly be able to see than my oil pressure gauge. When I go in to replace the oil pressure gauge, would there be any problems with me switching the two gauges so I can actually see the fuel level one? Is there any way to make that last gauge brighter (on the other side too, but that one is more visible than the fuel level)? Thanks!
