Default Which H-Pipe with this setup?

Hi,

I am running the super comp long tube headers and flowmaster 40 series on my 289. As of now, I am not using any H or X pipe and looking at the benefits that most of you describe (better sound, little extra torque), I would like to install an H-Pipe.

What setup would you recommend? Budget is not an issue.

Here is what it looks like now:

Thanks!

Well, if you are using 2" or 2.25", I'd cut a stock one like in the photo below. If you have larger, you'll have to have something made.

Thanks for the reply.

What do you mean by stock one?

Something like this: http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...p?T1=5246HR+01

Yep something like that. I recommend checking CJ Pony Parts for that part, they will be cheaper since they don't charge shipping.

I would bring it to a muffler shop and have them make one. You will be way better off than trying to make one of those generics work. All they have to do is cut a couple holes and weld a pipe in between.
