Badass? Absolutely. Efficient? Not by a long shot. I doubt your 289 can suck enough air to justify two 4V carbs, even with progressive linkage. I'd rather spend the money on an EFI system, like rmodel said.

It depends why you want it?..Yes it won't be the ultimate performer but set up properly it should work very well and is definetely old school cool...
