Got some gremlins under my hood
The title of the post pretty much says it, the 69 fired up after sitting for 10 years using some starting fluid to get it to life then no spark and now the spark is back and is temper-mental like a Italian car but when the fuel finally filled the bowls to the carb the fuel line was bad and was dumping gas on the ground like a water fall, so after changing the fuel pump cause it was bad too and new hard line and rubber lines trying and trying no fuel is reaching my new mechanical pump I blew air back into the intake line to try and clear it to the tank but nothin still. Should I just run a external tank for now so I could move it around on my property? or is there any more trick to get fuel to the pump. and yes the tank has 5 gallons of gas in it so that should be enough even for the low pick up

With it sitting that long with fuel in it i bet the main fuel line from the tank is clogged with rust.I would try that external tank if it runs fine off that then its the line from the tank or the pickup in the tank is clogged.
