Default Okay my electrical problem.

Ive have determined that the only problem with my dash is something to do with wire # 19.(blue wire.) I have replaced the fuse for this wire and there is still no power going through the fuse box. I dont know what to do next. Wire # 19 is the wire that powers the dash lights. There is no power going to the light bulbs either. Im stumped.

Whats wrong with your lights? When I got my car, the dash lights wouldn't come on. I had to disassemble the light switch itself and wire brush all the contacts with a dremel tool.

There's kind of a little button on the side of the light switch you have to push to get it out. Ya also have to remove the handle assembly and unplug the wiring harness as well.

The only part of the fuse box that does not have power is the instrument panel fuse do you think this is related to the light switch?

When my switch was messed up, only the insturment pannel lights were off. The same thing happened to a friend of mine that has a 64.

Nope. 20 minutes and fifteen bucks for a new switch. Or you can try wire brushing every metal surface on your old switch, that should take about an hour including disassembly and reassembly. Its kinda tricky to put back together, not hard, but its kinda like a puzzle. It will only go back one way.

Once again, when mine was messed up, the lights on the dash were the only ones not coming on, so I can't guarentee that is the problem. But, that was the problem on both my 67 and my friends 64.
