I have to agree with superdavid...my '67 dash light didn't work originally and I replaced all the bulbs and checked wiring for continuity only to find out the light switch was dirty with some corrosion on the contacts. Dremel and sandpaper cleaned it right up...let there be light..and there was!!!

tyler...I may be mistaken but the #19 blue with red stripe wire goes to the instrument cluster lamps...test this wire with a voltmeter that has a needle attached and stick the needle into the blue/red stripe wire and ground the other end of the meter probe to metal on the dash. Be sure the battery is hooked up and headlight switch is out. Rotate/turn the headlight switch to brighten/dim the instrument cluster. If you have a reading from your voltmeter but no cluster lights, then it may be a dirty headlight switch. Kinda tired from this hurricane stuff so I hope this makes sense...

i got the thing where you touch the wire and if the light lights up then there is a current. Will this work?

I have only used a voltmeter to do testing...don't know the limits of those single contact testers...maybe someone else here can tell you more...good luck!!!!

if you have power going to the housing, then they should be working. Clean the sockets good, and the bulbs. THen make sure they're grounded.
