Ive got a 73 convertible with a 302 c4 and stock rearend. Im runnin about 8.8 at 0-60 which I plan on improving with a bunch more parts Im trying to get a good idea of what is a good time for these older mustangs so please post your times.

Figure a older "stock" mustang with a 302 would typically run a 1/4 mile in about 16 seconds in the low 80's. i would assume a 0-60 time in the 7s would be about right for a mild engine combo, not geared.

 

what is the best way to measure it? I will do it tomorrow.

 

Dunno i just tried a descent launch without too much wheelspin but i wasnt too successfull there im now looking into a locker with 3.8 gears and traction bars

 

i am really curious, I have 3.73 gears a trac loc and traction bars. I also have a 150 shot of NO2 and a pretty built 289. Im gonna look for a phone app and see if I can find something.
