Default 1965 GT

I have a 65 mustang I inherited from my father. He bought the car new in April of 1965. I've not seen very many that are exactly like it. Is anyone familiar with this type of mustang?

Due to the limit on file size I could only post 2 pictures in the previous entry. Here is one more. Does anyone know how many of these were made?

Here is a link to tell if its a real GT:
http://links.vintage-mustang.com/FAQ/65-66GT.txt

Im not sure how rare this car is. From the info Ive gotten they made 15,079 GT's in 1965. This is what Ive gathered:

"There wasn't a GT Mustang model per se, in 1965. Instead, the GT Equipment Group option was available on all Mustang body styles from April 1965, and only on those equipped with the 225 hp and 271 hp 289 V-8 engines. The package consisted of manual front disc brakes, the Special Handling Package, quick ratio steering, chrome exhaust trumpets, rocker panel stripes, GT emblems and grille mounted fog lamps. In the interior, the standard instrument bezel was replaced with a five-dial version. Only 15,079 1965 Mustangs came with the GT Equipment Group option."

Is the paint job new?

are those wheel covers original?
