I personally like the Wilson version best. It was my cell phone ring tone for a while.

 

Well, like someone said, there are alot of them on p2p. There's not too many with Eric Clapton smacked on it, but alot of them Say CCR.

 

There are obviously tons of mislabelled mp3s out there. I want the album that CCR or Clapton released Mustang Sally on. I've proven that it was never on any of CCR's studio or live concert releases. I stand by my initial comments that they neither covered it.

The only versions that someone as young as yourself may have heard on the radio is either Wilson Picket or the Committments.
