1966 200 ci Engine 3 spd manual tranny,, I need to have the tranny rebuilt, it's getting worse by the day. Any one know of a good shop in the Phoenix area or East Valley

I can say, do not use allstate transmission. They hosed me really bad and would not stand behind their work.

Its actually pretty easy to do it yourself on toplader 3. Look into it.

You might try Ernie at Sav-on Transmittion, 602-272-1605. He is not on the east side but he used to build my racing transmittions and did a good job.

I think they've moved out to the northwest side, so they may be too far from you, but Performance Transmission did great work for several members of my family, including the C4 in my wife's Mustang. Good, honest people who do good work.
