Default been out the game for awhile

hey y'all i've been out of the game for awhile. im starting to work on my 65' mustang again and im looking to do a 100% restoration on the body. a few years back i got into a wreck. it's fixable though. i had to cut out my front inner fender walls and new radiator support. but all the bottom framing supports were good. but i wanna make this mustang PRESTINE..

my main question is.. the drip rails.. mine have rust holes.. and they're rather annoying..is there a way to eliminate these? if so are there any negative feed backs to doing so? and also my rear quarter panels. bottom low parts behind the wheels.. tiny holes all over.. do they sell those panels? what companies are good to buy from for body panels?

Welcome back!

Alot of restomods shave driprails. Personally it all depends on the look your going for and as for downsides if you plan on driving in the rain and crack the window open you will get more wet. Mine I welded in new metal.

I used two suppliers for quarter panels, CJ Pony and Mustang Barn both were comparable in terms of amount of work and finesse to get fitted properly. Im convinced all retailers source from same places. If I needed more metal I would consider Dynacorn as I have heard good things about them, only bad thing is they have a limited product line.
