Default sold the GTA

well i gave up on the new GTA! I relized i really didnt want the task of stripping the car down, to bare again, and starting alllll over so i sold her. I let her go to my dad who will undoubtably try and make it nicer than mine... (yeah right) the sad part is im not even sad to let her go, its kinda good cause i got something muuuuch better anyhow. 1993 5.0 h.o 3.73, 5 speed!! its teal with gray interior, has chrome cobra r rims (car was a 5 lug conversion) and hauls a whole lotta ***. It has 120,000 on the car, the motor has about 10,000, and picked it up for only 3,800. I got to get rid of the subs in the back, there a little much, and the tach i ginormous, so a replacement dash is in need, the only damage i found was a broken marker light (converted over to crystal clear, with same on headlamps) Its a fun little car to drive in, i unfortunatly didnt get the Mach 1 i wanted, but im not paying 23,000 dollars for a used almost 3 year old car!!! it came down to a 22,500 dollar Mach with 82,500 miles on it, or a older 5.0 that has a fairly new motor.... i wonder?? well i drove her out to the airport today, and got on it pretty hard, and was doing about 125-130 in no time at all ( the speedo was changed over to a 140 mph ford racing) it pickes up nice in 2nd and 3rd and keeps your *** planted to the seat the rest of the way. I really hope i have a better time with this one however, hope i dont screw up the tranny like my 89 gt did..... well have to see i guess

Note: i sold the new one i bought two weeks ago, not the one i restored

I understand completely. That's why I have an 03 Mach1. As long as you keep your restored GT, then buy whatever Mustang you want. Hey, we are all in the same family here, whether it be a 60's rusted out coupe, or an 06 GT.

Not a problem at all Joe. I completely understand. But, I will be retiring in December, and will be moving back to Texas, so in the future, if you find another one in good condition at that price, give me a holler.
