Default Dizzy cam gear ?

soooo... Pertronix cam gear question. Looked on Jegs. Says iron gear. Looked on Summit racing. Says steel gear. I have a non billet roller cam. Why the heck they can't list it right? I would assume it is good with a roller cam but for $300 for the dizzy and coil I think I want to get it right. Heat treated cast iron?

I went through the same thing I ended up blowing the gear out on the cam by running cast iron on a roller cam. Cast iron should be softer than steel so how would a steel gear solve any problems and not make things worse?? I dont know
I only run composite gears on the distributor now. They cost about 100 bucks but provide about 30 to 50k miles of service life and dont induce any wear on the cam. I would just do that.
