Default 68' fuel line install

hey guys, I am a new guy to the board and I am looking for some helf with a 68/289-family project that has been left in my name. I am getting ready to install the fuel lines, but I am not the one who removed the old ones. I bought 3/8" SS prebents from the paddock they just don't seem like they fit right. I don't want to start to bend them, just looing for some advice. Should it be a 2 piece set?

Default RE: 68' fuel line install

first off welcome to the forum! Next no, it is extremely unsafe for a fuel line to be spliced in any way, imagine if it leaked The only fuel line i have found to fit almost perfectly like the originals are from Natonal Parts Depot. Most of there parts fit like a glove, the first line i bought for my car was from Year One...HUGE MISTAKE, it fit like crap, and i ended up sending back. Your best bet is to go with NPD

hope this helps
