Carl

Sounds like you have some experience with this type of thing. Originally I planned on trying to do it myself but after seeing the more extensive rust than I thought I may just save my pennies up and let a pro do it.

this is actually my first rebuild. i have done alot of reading on how people set up the chassis on their own cars, so i am pretty confident in doing the work. i should have more pictures of my screwed up car tomorrow.
thanks for all the comments,
carl

more pictures... i found that piece of white metal in my basement. it looked like it would fit the rear frame rails perfectly so its being used to brace everything while i trailer it over to the garage ill be using to fab all of the stuff that will be on the car.

i finally found evidence of the original color, the camera altered the actual color of the package tray though. is frost turquoise a rare color by any chance?

from the looks of the car, i can be fooled by a new carpet and decent looking seats. ohh well this is fun.

thanks for looking,
carl

i guess ill use this thread to post all my pictures as i go along. today, after 6 hours, the cowl lid finally came off. everything looks pretty bad inside, but a sandblast and some sheet metal can fix that.

what do you guys think about that color scheme on the lid? i think it would look better with a darker shade of red.

thanks for looking,
carl

I really like that tire tool for a shifter.
