hes got a B&M shifter in there...that might be why. could it be? they say it shifts great....either way...i probably plan to get the T5 in there in a few months so the switch would need to be bypassed anyways....i believe....

UPDATE....

i just found out that the car was originally a 289 2v....BUT.....the guy bought all brand spankin new parts and made a 302 out of em...new block, pistons, crank, cam, intake, carb etc etc...plus some jba shortys with the ceramic on them.....sounds like its worth it even more now....cant wait til next sat when i get it....
